"I’m a 67 year old retiree. I don’t have any acting, dancing or singing experience but I’m looking for any new and interesting experiences.
I applied to join Roseys Talent Consultant and have been welcomed as though I were a long lost member of the family. Rosey, Chloe, Josh and Johnny have been simply wonderful. I’ve been introduced to other members of this extended family and been accepted and embraced by all concerned.
I visit Roseys at least weekly so I believe I have the experience to recognise their genuineness, their commitment and their sincerity. They are a very sophisticated group who are keen to get my career moving and have pulled out all stops to get me noticed.
I’ve now got a gorgeous portfolio of photographs, I’ve been informed about what to do at an audition and given practical tips from an experienced actor, and I’ve been sent to auditions for shopping centre presentations, for television advertisements and as a movie extra.
These have been fun and interesting and educational.
I’m still waiting for the wider world to discover my hidden talents but I am completely convinced that Rosey and her crew know I’m just on the verge of being discovered.

"Having had zero acting experience, and just a couple of very amateur 'modelling' jobs during my uni days, I have to admit I was still more than a little nervous when I first contacted Rosey's Talent Consultants back in 2003. However, within a few weeks I had my first casting call and before I knew it the adventure had begun.
I've been having a great time... As well as gaining an incredible amount of industry experience, I've met some amazing people both in front of and behind the cameras.
In hindsight, my biggest regret was that I didn't call Rosey sooner!
In the last year alone I've been cast as a Bank Manager, Detective, Tradesman, Business Executive, Nagged Husband and Sports Cyclist. I've been featured in TV Commercials, Newspaper Adverts and Corporate Literature as well as being an extra in some great overseas productions that were filmed here in Australia. No two jobs are the same and while some are definitely larger than others, each role has been an exciting experience and a whole lot of fun!
I took a break for a couple of years, to look after my 'day job' (establishing a Scuba Diving Centre in southern Sydney) but now that it's up and running I'm "back on the books" as they say and looking forward to my next casting.
What's next? I've just enrolled in an acting course and I'm looking forward to what the future has in store.
